Getting Started with CloviDecks Presentation Builder¶
What This Tool Does¶
CloviDecks lets you turn any set of slide images into a finished, narrated presentation video — without a microphone, recording software, or video editor. You upload your slides, type the narration for each one, and CloviDecks assembles a clean MP4 you can share or send to a client. Slides and narration text live together in one project so they never fall out of sync.
Quick Start¶
- Create an account. Sign up at the CloviDecks home page and confirm your email. Your account opens on the Free plan — no payment details required.
- Start a new project. Click New Project, give it a name, and upload your slide images (PNG or JPG). You can upload slides one at a time or as a batch.
- Add narration to each slide. Click any slide to open the editor and type the words you want spoken over it. Work through each slide in order.
- Generate your video. On paid plans, click Generate AI Narration to create spoken audio from your text, then click Export Video to download your completed MP4.
Core Features¶
Per-Slide Narration Editor¶
Each slide has its own text box. What you type is exactly what gets spoken — no separate script document, no guessing which notes belong to which slide. Update a slide image later and your narration text stays attached automatically.
AI Voice Generation¶
On paid plans, CloviDecks converts your narration text to spoken audio using a built-in AI voice engine. No microphone or recording setup required. The engine handles pacing and punctuation pauses without manual adjustment.
Slide Image Import¶
CloviDecks works with images you already have — exports from your current slide software, screenshots, or any PNG or JPG. You are not locked into building slides inside CloviDecks; bring your existing work and add narration to it.
Video Export¶
CloviDecks assembles each slide and its audio into a single MP4 file. Starter exports at 720p; Pro and Business export at 1080p. The file downloads to your device and plays in any standard video player or media platform.
Drag-and-Drop Slide Reorder¶
On Pro and Business plans, you can reorder slides by dragging them into a new sequence. Narration text and generated audio travel with each slide — nothing becomes orphaned when you rearrange.
Tips for Best Results¶
- Write as you would speak, not as you would write. Short sentences read out loud more naturally than long paragraphs. If you would not say it in a presentation, do not type it.
- Use punctuation to control pacing. A period creates a full pause. A comma creates a short breath. "First. Then. Finally." produces cleaner rhythm than a run-on sentence.
- Aim for 60–90 seconds of narration per slide. If you are writing more than 150 words for one slide, consider splitting it into two.
- Upload your highest-resolution images. Export at the largest size your slide software allows — blurry source images produce blurry video.
- Generate audio before reordering. If you plan to rearrange, generate audio for all slides first to avoid re-generating after a sequence change.
Frequently Asked Questions¶
Do I need a microphone or recording equipment? No. CloviDecks generates spoken narration from the text you type. No microphone, no recording app, and no audio editing are required at any plan level.
Can I use slides I made in other tools? Yes. Export your slides as PNG or JPG from whatever tool you use and upload them directly. CloviDecks does not require you to build slides inside the app.
What happens to my narration if I replace a slide image? Your narration text stays attached to the slide's position. Replacing the image updates the visual without deleting your text. Regenerate the audio for that slide after swapping the image.
Can I share a project with my team? Team workspaces with shared projects and role-based access are available on the Business plan. Free and Starter plans are single-user, but you can share the exported MP4 with anyone.
Is there a slide limit per project? Free plan projects cap at 10 slides. Starter supports up to 25 slides. Pro and Business have no slide limit per project.
